Phonics Mini Book 15. Long O Sound in ow: Fala, the Choctaw Indian
The next phonics mini book for my students. As usual, thank you to DedicatedTeacher and Philip Martin for, respectively, the template and a lot of the clipart. The first page is color, the second mainly grayscale, and the third has the story upright for easy reading. This is the first of the mini books for which there was a need for historical and cultural accuracy, I tried to research the facts and make it as true to the real world as possible, but there are some inconsistencies as I am limited not being able to draw pictures myself. The fishing hook on page 6 is used by Native Indians in the far North rather than the Choctwa, but otherwise I think itīs fairly accurate. If you know more about the Choctaw Indians and notice something that is obviously wrong, please just let me know by PM so I can correct it. Hope youīre all having a good week. Hugs, Julia
