Test on the American Civil War. The text is an extract of "Gone with the Wind" by Margaret Mitchell. It deals with postslavery relations between blacks and whites and among whites themselves. Students also have to comment on a paragraph about black slavery in the United States at that time. You may also find some exercises on prepositions and rephrasing. This is for 12th form students (level 8).
