FCE (First Certificate in English) useful clues for the Speaking Part of the exam
I have prepared lots of my students for the Cambridge exams, especially for the FCE exam. As you know, it is a very complex exam. It checks everything (listening and reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and also speaking). As far as I am concerned, the speaking part is the easiest one, though most of my students are afraid of this part most. That is why, I prepared this worksheet. It consists of useful clues and techniques of how to pass this part in flying colours. It consists of such parts as: at the beginning, if you donīt know what to say, how to describe (in general and in detail), how to compare, how to join comparisons, useful synonyms, suppostions, how to express your opinion (and also a similar opinion and the same opinion but in different words), how to present your arguments one by one, how to introduce a counterargument, and how to resume.
If your students follow these clues and use some of these techniques/expressions, the speaking part of the FCE exam will no longer be scary for them.
I hope you will find this worksheet useful.
