British attractions
In this WebQuest, students need to go to a prepared Google-map. On this map they´ll find 10 pins. Each pin represents a tourist attraction in Britain. By clicking on the pin they get a picture of the attraction. Students then need to find out what the attraction is by using their Web-skills. In a Word-document they type the name, location, their own picture and information about the attraction. In conclusion they write which attraction they find the most interesting, and why. The digital WebQuest (Google-map included) can be found on www.EnglishClassroom.be. Click on WebQuests, and then British attractions.
SINCE I POSTED THIS WEBQUEST I HAVE CHANGED 2 LOCATIONS BECAUSE I ULTIMATELY DECIDED THERE WERE TOO MANY LOCATIONS IN THE SOUTH. SO DUBLIN CHANGED TO GRETNA GREEN, AND LONDON CHANGED TO STRATFORD-U-AVON. SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.
