Routines and Actions Verbs
This worksheet is good to get students to talk about all the actions they do every day. I begin the class by reminding the students what the infinitive form is. Then, I ask the questions what´s the first action they do every day. The will I say, "I wake up." So, then I will write "To wake up" on the board. Then, I ask them, "what next?" I continue until we go through all the actions they could do throughout the day, ending with "to go to bed" and "to sleep."
After, I give them a couple of minutes to write out their daily routine and ask them to get into small groups. I have them talk about their daily routine with their group (in first person, singular and in present simple). Then, I have them switch papers with group members, and without writing anything, they have to talk about their friends routine, changing "I" to third person singular and conjugating verbs in third person singular. I do the second part of the sheet the next day.
