Take three bags and fill them with household items such as empty drinks bottles, till receipts, empty shampoo bottles, hairbrush, old make up, newspaper etc.. Split the class into teams and give each team a bag. They have to write about what you did at the weekend in the past simple tense using the clues given, ie: Debbie drank a coffee. The team with the most correct sentences wins.
