everyday activities CARDS
I use these cards to play bingo. They like it and learn the routine verbs easily, without noticing. I make a copy for each student and have them cut them up. They I ask them to place ten cards, whick is half of the total, face up on their desk. They can pick any ten they want. Then I have mine, which are bigger in size so that everyone gets to see them, and I show them one at a time and read it aloud. If they have it on their desks, they pick it up, show it to me and repeat what Iīve said - that is, the name of the action. When they put it down, they place it face down. The first student with all of their cards face down shouts "bingo" and is the winner.
I use this game with beginners, no matter how old they are. Even adults enjoy the game and take advantage of the visual aid to memorize the new vocabulary. Hope your students enjoy it too!
