MLA Citation Worksheet
Students are supposed to be able to cite their sources when referencing a text. Using this Set up, I taught 6-8th grade students how to cite a text, including a childrenīs book where they had to cite their favorite part and why. Following the diagram, they plugged in their own author, publisher, ETC. My students use ASL to communicate, i taught them how to find the publisher, and parts of the book and how to add it in to cite it in preparation for High School Curriculum standards. We did this with students who use little to no English through ASL and they did okay!
