Selfie - describing features and clothes
This is a fun activity that revises vocabulary for facial features, colours and clothes.
Revise relevant vocabulary and discuss the appearance of the students. Ask:
What colour are your eyes? Encourage answers in a full sentence - My eyes are brown.
What colour is your hair? What are you wearing? Ask questions to which the students will have to answer yes or no - Are you wearing a scarf? No. I am not wearing a scarf.
Ask students to draw a selfie on the phone screen. Encourage them to describe the picture as they draw it, e.g. I am wearing …
Then ask the students to use the words in the vocabulary box to answer the questions. Encourage full sentence answers.
