Pet Adverts - Reading and Conversation Practice
Students read advertisements for different pets and then the profiles of different people. They select what they think is best pet for each person and tell their partner why they came to their conclusion. Then students can select which pet they would want personally and which they would avoid taking. Some pet-specific vocabulary to pre-teach: pedigree, breed and mongrel.
