Telephone - Take a Message Roleplay: Create your own dialogue
This is another telephone role play activity I did. Students work in pairs and must create their own "telephone conversation" dialogue where they leave their own message. They then must present the dialogue in front of the class. My 2nd year Japanese junior high students had a blast with this activity and made some very funny, creative dialogues. You can also encourage them to use props (ie paper cell phones).
The first page of this activity is an example dialogue with many examples of different phrases, but I made it clear to my students that they are by no means limited to just the example dialogue.
I welcome all feedback or comments!
