If you are looking to add to your English idioms teaching materials, then this dialgue script between two college students may assist you. The realistic dialogue contains many English idiomatic expressions that are in current use. Overall, the worksheets contain an introduction (which explains the importance of studying idioms) sets up the situation for the dialogue, has a scripted dialogue between Jim and Diane (two native speakers) and illustrates how two speakers would use various idiomatic expressions. The answer sheet explains the idioms and allows for further discussion/practice with your students. This is for intermediate and above students. I hope you find this a useful addition to your teaching materials about English idiomatic expressions. Keep up the great work everyone!
