Students have to work out the hidden code from the Egyptian hieroglyphs (I am the old king). The main point of the exercise is for students to then write English words and sentences in hieroglyphs for their partner to workout. It is a fun way to develop reading, writing and sentence structure using a fun and diverse theme. I hope your kids like it. Can also be used with an Egypt-themed project within your school.
