Find Someone Who Summer Holidays (Japan)
A worksheet I made for my Japanese students to use for the first lesson back after the summer holidays. Before starting the lesson, go over the sentences which might be difficult for your students. Each person receives the worksheet and has to go around talking to other students asking them "Did you ~?" from the sheet. If the other person answers "Yes, I did", they write down that studentīs name. If they answer "No, I didnīt", they are encouraged to keep asking until they get a "yes" answer from the other student. Students are not allowed to have the same personīs name more than once on their sheet. However, if there are less students than there are questions on the worksheet, depending on the class size, the students are then allowed to write down the same personīs name two or three times. If your class is not able to be on task very much, set a time limit to increase the urgency, usually around 10 minutes is fine.
(Because this worksheet has Japanese culture specific words, itīs okay to change them to fit your studentsī culture!)
