"Countries and Nationalities" (nš 3 in a series of 4) - Reading comprehension for Upper Elementary and Lower Intermediate students
This is the 3rd of this series of 4. When I get to use them Iīll do it like this not to get students bored: Divide the class in 4 groups, each of them with a different worksheet. Give them a transparency of the second page for them to register their answers. In the ed, each group presents their work to the class. Meanwhile, the other students take notes, while they listen, on a BIG table similar to the one on page 2 but with all countries that are in the 4 worksheets.(Iīll upload yhis worksheet with the last one. In a single calss, we will be developing all skills and the activities are much more motivating to the students. At least thatīs what I think.
Reading activities in this worksheet: 1st ) Students start by reading the texts and fill in the gaps with the words in the bubble (nationalities, countries, languages...); 2nd) they fill in a table with information from the texts; 3rd) They answer 5 questions and 4th) they find references in the last text. Once again thanks for being so kind to me. Have a nice weekend. Hugs, mena:)))
