Stinky Scents
This workseet will help students explore their sense of smells.
It is very helpful to give them vocabulary before and have them use with this worksheet.
I first explore good/bad/ok smells along with the FLAVORS/TASTES we use in English to describe these smells.
Then go through different words that can be associated with those smells.
Example: good --> fruity, nutty, sweet, sour, spicy, minty, etc.
After that, I may give them some example sentences, such as:
--There was a wonderful aroma (noun) of _______________.
--The roses filled the air with their _____________ fragrance (noun).
They like filling in the blanks with certain objects.
