GAME: MOBSTERS - GUESS WHO (2/3) GAME: MOBSTERS - GUESS WHO (2/3)

These flashcards can be used in many different ways. I use them as a guess who game. Students need to guess the other team´s criminal, police officer or missing person. Lots of fun. Great way to practice description, adjectives (comp-super) and so on. This game also includes words your students might not know such as pet peeves and last seen. I tried to make the cards as funny as possible. Enjoy (set: 2/3)NOTE: FOR GAME RULES - PM ME!Hi there, Please note that with these cards you can do a number of things - but playing Guess Who with them is my personal favourite here is what you need to do: 1- print cards in color 2- cut them up (protect them by plastifying them) 3- you can play this game in teams and I suggest in PAIRS 4- you need to distribute each student the same 18 cards. 5- have students pick a card from YOUR 18 cards (if they pick the same card as their opponent, that´s okay) 6- then students need to figure out who the person is by asking questions REMEMBER: there are 3 categories of MOBSTERS: criminals (skull), police officers (badge), missing (question mark) MOBSTERS=CHARACTER 7- here are some possible questions - the more your students get close - the more detailed the questions will get. Students that are being asked can only answer YES-NO, therefore questions that are being asked must be YES-NO. EXAMPLES: Is your mobster a police officer? NO Does he have blue eyes? NO Is he missing? NO Does he have a scar? YES Is he considered tall? YES (5´11). For height and weight, you can explain to the group, what is considered big or tall. Does he hate people who don´t say thank you? NO Is he wearing a hat? YES Is he holding a weapon? YES Did he commit a bank robbery? YES Is he in his 50´s? NO Is your criminal CHARLES ‘LUCKY’ LUCIANO? YES 8- (OPTIONAL-WRITING-GRAMMAR) Then you can have students compare themselves with their favourite character: EX: The character that I like is _________________________________. He is taller than me. Unlike him, I do not hate smokers, my parents smoke........... 9- (OTHER GAME - using ´WOULD) Who would you invite to your next birthday party? I would invite CHARLES ‘LUCKY’ LUCIANO because __________________________________________. Hope this all helps! Feel free to pm me if you have any other ideas you want to share with them. Take care.
