The question "What is he like?" can mean "What does he look like?" and/or "What is his character/personality like?", but students may give such answers as "He likes spaghetti." or "He likes dancing." To solve this problem I have created these cards.
He´s: young/slim/sociable, speaks in general terms.
He has: a big orange Afro/a small face, speaks specifically.
He likes: going to coffee shops/listening to reggae music, speaks of his tastes in life.
The backs are crucial to these cards and editable to your individual situation; this back matches the first two cards. I have used these words on the backs of my cards boyfriend-friend-father-doctor-teammate-English teacher-dentist-coach-grandfather-brother.
