I use this reading to teach students about describing things with modals/adverbs of uncertainty: about, nearly, almost, might, etc. Then, after the reading I give them their own pictures and tell them they have to write a wanted poster for their own criminal. They have to come up with a crime for the criminal (preferably funny) and describe them. This is always a fun activity. After they create their wanted posters we get to read them as a class and they make nice decorations for the wall.
