GENERATION GAP
CUT THE CHARTS AND FOLD THEM IN THE MIDDLE. THEN GIVE EACH STUDENT ONE CHART AND ASK THEM TO WRITE THE OF THEIR CLASSMATES. BUT MAKE SURE STUDENTS DONīT WHAT IS WRITTEN IN THE SENTENCES. ITīS A SURPRISE. WHEN THEY ARE DONE, THEY CHECK THE SENTENCES AND GO AROUND TO CONFIRM OR NOT THE SENTENCES. E.G. ROBERT USED TO ACT UP IN CLASS, THE STUDENT WALKS UP AND ASKS: " ROBERT, DID YOU USED TO ACT UP IN CLASS? WHY? STUDENTS GET FOLLOW UP QUESTIONS.
THEY FINISH THE TASK AND THE TEACHER GET FEEDBACK FROM STUDENTS. MY STUDENTS LOVE IT AND I HOPE YOURS TOO.
