"Australia to unveil new Multiculturalism Policy" - Reading Comprehension Test
This is a reading test for my 11th graders (7th year learning English, C1 level / B2 maybe, since they are low achievers)on the topic Multiculturalism. 3 PAGES, KEY INCLUDED. After reading the text, a very recent piece of news (February 16, 2011), students do a vocabulary exercise (matching), say who or what the pronouns given refer to in the text, say if the statements are true or false and quote from the text to justify all answers, complete sentences, answer questions and, finally, rewrite some sentences. You can use this in a regular 90-minute class as a formative test. Students correct their answers and see how well they are doing regarding their reading skills. Wish you all a GREAT week.
