The environment - worksheet
A worksheet with which I introduced the topic on environmental issues. Students listen to a song and correct the mistakes. They also do exercises on the song theme. After that, there is a speaking exercises on envoronmental quotes, which is followed by a writing exercise (students write their own quotes). The next group starts with the identification of environmental problems (KEY: 1. AIR POLLUTION; 2. WATER POLLUTION; 3. HAZARDOUS WASTE; 4. DEFORESTATION; 5.ACID RAIN; 6. OZONE DEPLETION; 7. GLOBAL WARMING; 8. NATURAL DISASTERS). After that students have to analise the impact of these on our lives. Finally there are measures we can take to protect the environment.
