Causes and Effects of Climate Change - National Geographic
Unfortunately, students can watch a video and still learn nothing. The purpose of this worksheet is to solidify student knowledge about the causes and effects of climate change along with its unique vocabulary while also practicing their English reading, writing and speaking. In addition, there is some chemistry, in the end, making it cross-curricular. Have your students watch the very informative National Geographic video (link provided) and then go over the directions and coach then as they work in pairs or groups to answer the questions. Then, have a student come up to the board and fill five answers at a time then pass the pen to another student until they are all done and have students review their answers. Finally, have students take turns reading aloud along with the answers while reviewing. Enjoy this very effective resource!
