water changes everything
to lead the Ss into a unit about "water" (Language Leader Elementary unit 3 pg. 22), i used a video about the water crisis in some developing places. firstly, i showed them the video and i asked them to talk about the facts they´ve learnt from it. Then i gave them this material, which includes a true-false exercise about the video. Then, i checked their answers. Then we braimstormed what other reasons can cause a water crisis. Then, i told them (as a possible reason) that in the USA, people generally use about 500 litres of water. When i got the question "are you sure?" :), i told them that i learnt it from our coursebook. Finally, we started to study on the quiz on pg. 22.
