BODY Interactive Communication Game (Rock Paper Scissors)
The greatest game ever to get your students communicating in natural, fun English conversation! Pre-teach the conversation structures and the vocabulary. Each student gets one card. In pairs they ask each other the open-ended question - "Where is your elbow?", and the other student touches their elbow and replies with the prompted answer on his card e.g. "Over here". Once both have asked and answered each other, they play ´Rock-Paper-Scissors, 1-2-3´ and the winner gets her opponents card. If a student doesn´t have any cards, s/he asks the teacher "Can I have a card please?” After each rock-paper-scissors round, all the students change partners and do it again. The game ends when the teacher has no more cards or you run out of time – because your kids will love this game and beg to play it every day. *I often add the ‘English-only’ rule that if any student speaks in their native language, they lose a card. *I prefer not to have the students count the cards to find the winner, as we play for fun, not to win. *Fully editable, easy to cut and totally addictive. Your students will love it. Its easy to insert any pictures that you want, just ´Insert Picture´ (Wrap Text = ´In Line with Text´) Happy teaching!
