Play battleships with this worksheet with football fans and it gets the students talking (they will tell you about other famous footballers with ...an afro etc. If you have google images open it is useful).
Can use with... Does he have a ...... No he doesn´t. Yes he does.
I started with simple ..He has .. as that was the focus language.
It helps if your students know how to mark the square that they have asked you and you have replied no, else they get lost. Also I made up the names of the ships/ boats etc with the class, it gives them more time to understand the game.
FYI the students do not need to choose the "correct" square eg He has a blonde mohawk, the photos are to explain the haristyles, so then it doesn´t need to be printed in colour, although I don´t know what the photos look like in black and white, so preview this before printing.
