Family Tree Cards
First use the cards yourself to figure out the final family tree (Peter, Mary and George are Alan and Doris´s children; Natalie, Rachael, Emma and John are Peter & April´s children; April S., Carl J. and Evelyn J. are Sonny and Laura´s children; Maggie and Alex are Brenda and Carl´s children). In class, draw the family tree on the board *without the names* (though usually I would put Peter and April, to give a hint) and give each student one card with information. Send one student to the board. They must use the information to figure out which person goes in which place on the family tree and tell the person at the board. You can also do this as a race between two teams.
