Family Tree Worksheet
This is a 2 page worksheet that will keep elementary and beginner students entertained for around an hour if planned correctly. It is generally simple but I have included two more difficult exercises at the end to introduce students to the idea of joining families.
It is important that students start with the first exercise and do it correctly as they need a correct family tree in order to progress onto the next exercises. Make sure the students understand what is being asked of them (e.g. use of the possessive in exercise 2) and be ready to explain the various family relationships to them (e.g. niece, nephew, auntie and brother-in law). They should realise that they use these words in their own language and that they need them in English so be ready to provide them with the translations.
Happy teaching!
