FRUIT&VEG FOLDING STAR
This is an activity that I´ve tried with 5 to 8 year olds and they´ve all loved it because they get to take the game with them. Older children were already making and playing with these, so I thought of using it to teach food and health as well as practice counting, vocabulary and asking questions: "Do you like...etc". I find it has lots of possibilities. Great fun also for learning vocabulary.
Instructions for folding the star:
Cut along the lines of the main square lines. Fold each corner underneath into the middle. Then turn around and fold again into the middle point. You insert your index and thumb underneath and you start playing...
