Our Fridge is empty
This is a kind of pair-work activity for elementary student to get used to countable-uncountable nouns in specific context. It also provide student with some language function to show their opinion, agreement, disagreement. After student completing their pair-work, we can hold a model role play or student report their decision in front of class.
Note: This is anyway a controlled activity. So, to create information gap, we can make a version 2 by delivering everyone a worksheet and make their own choice. Then let them talk to their friends about their decision to find out what in their partner´s fridge.
For higher level students, they can say why they want to buy the items.
