The Forgotten Friend is a text about friendship. I suggest students read the text in pairs and discuss/talk about the workpoints in the purple boxes. At the end of the text you´ll find a long list of questions for further talk about friendship or you can assign a certain number of questions to be answered on paper. I sometimes find it difficult to get students talk but I have found that preparing wss like this, it helps them onto the right track. They read some lines and thereby get inspiration and vocabulary to speak about a topic.
