Trick Your Friends
First, thanks to Philip R for the template.
Every year I teach this lesson, but this year I put it on paper and WOW it worked out so much better. The kids grasped it much better with the paper in front of them. Basically the kids write three sentences about themselves - some true and some not true. The others in the class take a vote to see which they feel at true and false. We mark down the numbers and then we add the "tricks" together to get the final number. After, we write the number on the board and the person with the highest number at the end of the class is our WINNER!!!
(For the winnerīs prize I will always say that he/she gets no homework... and for the others I tell them to go to their _____ teacher and tell him/her that they love him/her. Wonderful reactions!)
