Speed Dating
These are 8 characters you can use for Speed Dating. You can use these along with others from another worksheet (in case you have more students than speed dating characters), or just use these if you have a class of 8 students. I usually like to light some candles and play some romantic music for this, you can go all out if you like. I´ve found the Speed Dating activity is a great finisher to a lesson or two on love, relationships, romance, etc. Each person has a ´perfect match´. The students spend about 5 minutes each on one-on-one ´dates´, then change partners. It´ll last about half an hour with all the chair switching. Then after everyone´s dated each other, have them tell you if they found their match, who they chose, and why (and where they´re going on their first date).
