Speed Dating Scenario
I did this lesson with a class today and it worked really well. Although many speed dating lessons involve the whole class going around the room, I thought this could be a bit hectic and boisterous. I thought to get everyone to concentrate better it would be good for them to listen to the dates, and note down what was said, and we could then discuss it afterwards. It worked really well, and they found it quite funny. An extension exercise we did afterwards was for someone to come up with their own character, and then several people would go on dates with them and we would have to find her perfect match again.
