Speed dating
Students are divided into 2 groups. Ss in group 1 remain sitting at their desks. Group 2 are candidates and will move from one desk to another. First all students prepare the questions they want to ask and decide who they are. The teacher plays music and students find a place to sit. When the song changes, they will have to go to the following candidate. They ask the questions they have on their papers and, at the end, they tick the persons´ name if they liked them.
We practise questions and conversation. It´s a quick and funny activity, ideal to break the ice in new groups.
