Now_and_Then
students cut the pictures of inventions and categorize them as inventions we have now but not in the past, those which was used in the past and no more nowadays (or mostly not used), and those that were in the past and still used nowadays. Teacher could use the finished activity as base for speaking about the difference between the past and present time. What was there and wasnīt.
Note: The year 1876 is choosen based on what my students are studying right now. So you can just subtitute it with (past).
