Scattegories Scattegories

Cut apart the cards and place face down in a basket. First player chooses one card from the basket and shares the category with the rest. This player will list words that are in the category out loud (I like to write the words on the board as the student is saying them) while the other students are making their own list on paper (or individual white boards). The player saying the words out loud gets one point for every correct word. The other students get one point for each word that is not a duplicate of the "out loud" player. Play rotates through the group.
