I will be devolving a series of worksheets to teach functional or situational English. It is meant to get students away from only the "I am fine thank you and you." Here is the game to follow up this worksheet, http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=635778#thetop. The worksheet provides an explanation of the function (in this case, greetings), the formula to make different variations, and finally an example. By teaching language as units for a specific task, I hope students will better retains and more freely use this material.
