This is a guide for writing introductions on the TOEFL IBT internet based exam -- specifically the integrated tasks. It shows various effective combinations of verbs, prepositions and objects which will add an advanced touch to student essays. This is designed to be used in conjunction with a TOEFL IBT CD-Rom or book activity. Let students use the "cheat sheet" while they are writing their responses.
