At the doctor´s
Students are divided into pairs, and then work in groups of at least four (2 playing pairs). Give each group a board, counters and a dice. Students take it in turns to throw a dice and perform the tasks moving on numbered squares. When they land on a square with a green number they guess a word in accordance with its definition. When they land on a square with a yellow number they define a given word.
If the playing pair reaches the square with a red number they are fined and have to move back to their previous square. The fine is
• role-playing the dialogue on the situation corresponding the letter
• story-telling on the situation corresponding the letter
If the playing pair reaches the square with “a sad smile” they have to move 5 squares back.
If the playing pair reaches the square with “a happy smile” they move 5 squares forward.
If the playing pair reaches the square with “a happy smile” they move 10 squares back.
The pair of students who reaches the Finish square first is the winner.
