Kitchen hygiene and safety rules.
A list of rules in the kitchen and get students discussing, agreeing and disagreeing. You could use this handout along with or as a follow up activity to a presentation/lesson about hygiene and safety in the kitchen.
For my class, I first elicited and explained the vocabulary. Then, I got the students to work together in small groups and agree on the five rules they thought were the most important and give their reasons why.
Finally, once the students had discussed and created a list of the top five rules in their groups, I got them to tell the rest of the class and encouraged further discussion, agreement and disagreement about their answers and reasons.
