Coping with stress
COPING WITH STRESS:
1. Pre-activity: students talk about situations that provoke stress and how they cope them.
2. Ss sit in groups of four and each group is given a card with a stressful situation.
3. They have to identify the reasons why that situation create stress.
4. Then they have to write a plan to help someone suffering that situation: possible solutions, actions, therapeutic activities, etc.
5. Then groups exchange cards. Students have to imagine individually what their personal situation is like. Then, they´ll have to find a therapist in the other group and they will help each other.
6. Finally, we share what they think the best therapy was and why with the whole group.
