Questions About Parties
Cut the cards and give one to each student. As you play music students walk around the room. When the music stops, say a random number, for example: "Three!!!" Students have to get in groups of three and discuss the questions they have. Continue repeating the same procedure for the following rounds using different numbers. After 15 or 20 minutes ask students to sit down and form small groups. Assign a different kind of party to each group (Christmas party, birthday party, Halloween party, etc.) They have to create a conversation based on the party they were given. If you want to make it more challenging, they can make the invitations, come up with the menu, create the decorations, think about the party games, music, gifts, etc.
