The aim of this worksheet is to learn how the beginning of the New Year is celebrated in Japan. This worksheet consists of six exercises. Students have to match the short paragraphs with the pictures, answer the questions about the text, decide if the given statements are true or false, and choose the correct options. The worksheet also consists of one exercise to test vocabulary from the text and one exercise to practice speaking (talking about New Year traditions in one´s home country, etc.).
