Slang and Proverbs
A list of slang words is cut up, and each student is given one, two or three slang words to learn and remember. after two minutes, take back the definitions off them and give them the blank sheet to fill in. They then they have to go around the class finding the definition of the other classmate´s words. At the end is a list of proverbs which i gave them to work in pairs or small groups to try and figure out the meaning by themselves. Advanced level.
