Synonyms Matching
This is a synonyms matching game. I use it with all ages from 8 to 18. I find that a lot of my students only know one word to describe something so I use this to expand their vocabulary and knowledge of synonyms. You have to print it out and cut out the different words. I always start by explaining what synonyms are and giving a few examples. Then I spread the words out over the table and I have the kids match the words. My more advanced students have to make sentences with the new words they´ve learned.
