ordinal numbers and holidays
ok, this is my version of the game serpents and latters.
This board game is great to help students review the ordinal numbers, months and special holidays.
In this game, as you can see, there are no serpents and latters, there are happy faces and sad faces. If a students lands on a happy face he/she moves foward the amount of sapaces you desire. The same goes for the sad face,only here students move some sapces back.
If a student lands on a box that has a questions such as: When´s St. valentines day, the students must answer with a complete answer such as: It´s on February fourteenth. If he/she answers correctly he/she gets to stay in the box and waits for the next turn, but if not he/she stays in the box, but misses a turn.
You can use these rules or make up your own, you can even change the holidays to fit those of the country you are teaching in.
