Crime and Punishment - The Death Penalty
(two pages + Answer Key) I chose this old but true story to discuss the subject of the death penalty with my older teenage students within the general context of crime and punishment. Apart from the article, the worksheet contains a set of comprehension questions, two vocabulary exercises, a roleplay task and some questions for class discussion. There are a few films based on this story. For more information I have included a link to a Wikipedia article about Karla Faye Tucker in the Answer Key.
