TABOO GAME: Famous People
Taboo with famous people. This is a game that you can play with your students, or that they can play in teams. You will need to cut each card (plastify, if possible).Here is one possible way to play the game: place students in two teams. Two members of the team need to come up, and one picks a taboo card, and has to make the other guess who the person is. The team gets a point when they guess. However, for each person, there are specific words that they canīt use when describing the famous person, so what they need to do is find synonyms to those words or even antonymsin their description. Great way to have students talk and practice nouns, and even learn a little bit of international history. Enjoy! NOTE: In total, there are 28 famous people.
