Find someone who..
In this activity students are supposed to walk around the classroom looking for people who can answer the prompts positively and write names of those people in appropriate places. In order to get this information they have to ask questions in Past Simple or Present Perfects tenses. Only if the question is asked correctly students can give the answer. Short answers should be given in their correct form.
e.g. Did you feed a dog last month? Yes, I did./No, I didn’t
Also, students match the pictures with the prompts. They decide if they do it at the beginning or later. The person who is first to fill all the gaps with the names of classmates is the winner.
It is great fun for students!
